Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet’s new luxury yacht was delivered in Viareggio, Italy. Yesterday, it was revealed that the now four-time world champion treated himself to a 33-metre yacht. Here what the luxury boat looks like!
The Red Bull Racing driver brought a Super Sport 33 from the Mangusta Series. He already had a name ready, as the yacht will be called ‘Unleash the Lion’. It is unknown how much Verstappen paid, or the what special personalisation he asked for, but the cheapest one is on sale for €12 million.
The boat is more than luxurious, that verdict can be drawn after looking at the photos of the manufacturer’s website. There is room for up to 12 guest in five separate rooms, while five crew members can also stay in three cabins.
The yacht for now is still in Viareggio, Italy, and it is unknown in which port it would stay in the future. Verstappen lives in Monaco, but the yacht could also stay in his home country, the Netherlands. Nevertheless, what is certain is that the driver and Kelly Piquet will enjoy their laters acquisition.
