Al Hilal President Reveals Details of Mohamed Salah’s Potential Transfer Amid Liverpool Frustration

Al Hilal’s president has confirmed that the Saudi Pro League club is in advanced negotiations to secure the signing of Mohamed Salah, as the Egyptian forward grows increasingly frustrated with Liverpool.

Salah is enjoying one of the most impressive seasons of his career, having scored 32 goals and provided 22 assists across all competitions for the Reds. His outstanding performances have even put him in contention for the Ballon d’Or. However, despite his efforts, the 32-year-old forward was unable to help Liverpool secure another trophy at Wembley, where they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle, ending the Magpies’ 70-year title drought.

Just a week ago, Liverpool was chasing a historic treble, but after being knocked out of the Champions League midweek, their hopes of additional silverware were dashed once again at Wembley. Despite the disappointment, Arne Slot’s squad remains on course to win the Premier League, holding a commanding 12-point lead over second-placed Arsenal.

Amid the uncertainty surrounding Salah’s future at Anfield, Al Hilal’s president has now broken his silence on the club’s pursuit of the Egyptian star.

“We have been working on this deal for a long time,” the Al Hilal president revealed. “Mohamed Salah is a world-class player, and we believe he would be a fantastic addition to our team. Discussions are progressing well, and we are optimistic about reaching an agreement soon.”

Reports suggest that Al Hilal is prepared to offer Salah a record-breaking contract, which could make him the highest-paid player in the Saudi Pro League. The club had previously attempted to sign him last summer, but Liverpool refused to let their star player leave.

With the season nearing its end and Salah reportedly considering his future, Al Hilal is confident they can finally secure his signature. “We respect Liverpool as a club, but we are ready to welcome Salah whenever he decides it’s time for a new challenge,” the Al Hilal president added.

As speculation continues to mount, Salah’s next move could be one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer.
