Mellencamp expressed her determination to fight through this challenging time, stating that her doctors are optimistic about the effectiveness of immunotherapy as a treatment option. Despite the gravity of her situation, she shared a positive outlook on life, humorously noting her fondness for a new wig while acknowledging the challenges of her condition. “I am feeling positive that I will win this battle,” she wrote, capturing her fighting spirit.
