Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex, Casandra Ventura, took the stand on Tuesday to testify in the πβ―π-trafficking and racketeering case against the rap music mogul.
Singer and model Ventura, known as Cassie, painted a horrifying picture of Combs’ “freak offs,” which she said would often leave the rooms in which they occurred “trashed,” with ππππ¦ oil all over the walls, and blood and urine on the sheets.
“It was disgusting, it was too much, it was overwhelming,” said Cassie, who broke down in tears during her emotional testimony.
Why It Matters
Cassie, who is pregnant, dated Combs for 11 years. This is the first time she has spoken about the allegations since she filed her bombshell lawsuit against Combs in 2023 in which she alleged he had abused her, both physically and πβ―πually, and had controlled her life for over a decade.

Cassie said she was still “expected” to have the freaks offs when she was menstruating, which would leave the bed linens stained with blood.
They could also be soaked in urine because Combs would order the escort to urinate on her, she testified. Cassie said that she felt “humiliated” and “worthless” by the freak offs but Combs was “pretty dismissive” every time she tried to express her concerns.
“It was a turn-on for him, so it happened,” she said of Combs. The pregnant model continued that the drug-fueled freak offs could last two to three days without any sleep. She said that she didn’t recognize Combs during those times. “His eyes go blackβthe version of him I was in love with was no longer there,” she said.
On one occasion, Cassie said, she was asked to enter an inflatable pool full of ππππ¦ oil inside a hotel while fully dressed. She didn’t want to but feared what would happen if she said no, the court heard.
Combs liked her to be “glistening” with ππππ¦ oil, Cassie testified, adding that he ordered her to reapply it at frequent intervals during the events. He would have his staff stock the room with ππππ¦ oil, the lubricant Astroglide and condoms, she said.
Cassie said that the freak offs “happened almost weekly” until she took part her in final one in 2017 or 2018.
She told the court that she would book hotel rooms for them under the name Jackie Star, while Combs used the alias Frank White or Frank Black, a Notorious B.I.G. reference. The escorts were hired from Craigslist, with Combs expressing a preference for Black men with large penises, Cassie testified.
She added that she never understood why Combs enjoyed watching her perform πβ―πually with escorts, but that she had wanted to please him. “I was confused, nervous, but also loved him very much,” she told the court.
Cassie testified that their relationship was marred by blackmail threats and even physical abuse. In May 2024, surveillance footage surfaced of Combs grabbing, shoving, dragging and kicking her inside a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.
“There were violent arguments that would usually result in some sort of physical abuse,” she told prosecutors on Tuesday. “Dragging, different things of that nature.”
Cassie told prosecutors that Combs also “controlled a lot of my life” by using the videos he shot of her during the freak offs as “blackmail materials.”
She added that she’d only been 19 when she met Combs in 2005, who was already a famous artist.
“He was just this exciting, entertaining, fun guy that also happened to have, you know, my career in his hands,” she said, adding that at first, she was “enamored” by him.
Cassie, now 38, described the beginning as something of a whirlwind romance, as Combs took her on a trip to Miami and gave her Ecstasy, but that even early on, there were some warnings signs. If she failed to answer his phone calls, he’d call “incessantly” or even have his assistants and security personnel track her down.
What People Are Saying
Cassie testified before a federal jury on Tuesday about Combs’ unpredictable behavior:Β “Make the wrong face, and the next thing I knew, I was getting hit in the face.”
Later in her testimony, Cassie broke down as she said:Β “I felt pretty horrible about myself. I was disgusted, [the freak offs] made me feel worthless.”
Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson said during the prosecution’s opening statement:Β “He used his companies to manipulate women, forcing them with male escorts to have πβ―π while he watched. He and his inner circle made sure he got everything he wanted.”
Defense attorney Teny Geragos told jurors in her opening statement:Β “We will not shy away from the things he did, but we will not own the things he did not do. He is physical, he is a drug user, you may know of his love of ππππ¦ oil. Is that a federal crime? No.
“This case is about Sean Combs’ private personal πβ―π life. The government has no place in his private bedrooms. They say it is not about his private πβ―π life, but the evidence will show that it is.”What Happens Next
The trial is expected to last well into the summer. Combs could face a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.
