“One life ends. The next begins.”
From acclaimed director Bong Joon-ho (Parasite, Snowpiercer) comes Mickey 17 — a mind-bending, thought-provoking sci-fi epic based on the novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The official trailer introduces a bleak future where expendable human clones are created for missions no one else will survive. Robert Pattinson stars in the dual role of a man who’s died many times… and is starting to remember.
🚀 Plot Overview: The Immortal Who Can’t Escape Death
In a far-flung future, humanity’s survival on distant planets depends on a single disposable asset: the “expendable”, a clone engineered to be sent into fatal situations. After each death, his memories are uploaded into a new body. But when one version — Mickey 17 — begins to question his purpose, things go off-script.
When Mickey 18 is created while 17 is still alive, chaos ensues. Two versions of the same man walk the colony — and one of them refuses to die again.
