The terrifying legend returns once more in Jeepers Creepers: The Awakening, the fifth installment in the long-running horror franchise — and this time, it’s more brutal than ever. Slated for release in 2025, the film stars Jared Padalecki as a determined sheriff caught in the path of an unspeakable evil.

The teaser opens with ominous lines: “He returns to feed. You can’t outrun him. Evil has awakened again.” These chilling phrases set the tone for a film steeped in dread, atmosphere, and relentless pursuit.
Padalecki’s character leads a small-town investigation into a string of gruesome disappearances, only to discover that an ancient predator known as “The Creeper” has awakened once again from its slumber. As the trailer suggests, no one is safe, and time is running out.
Director Eli Marcus promises a return to the roots of the franchise. “This is not a reboot, it’s a reckoning,” he stated during a recent teaser showcase. “We’re bringing The Creeper back to what made him terrifying — shadows, silence, and the thrill of being hunted.”
The teaser ends with a wide shot of Padalecki standing firm as The Creeper looms behind him in a wheat field — winged, grotesque, and ready to feast.
