Blumhouse Productions has just unveiled the teaser trailer for The Visit II: The Forgotten Ones (2025), the long-anticipated sequel to the 2015 sleeper hit The Visit. This time, the horror dives even deeper into twisted family secrets, trauma, and the terrifying unknown.
Directed by Osgood Perkins and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, the new film follows a pair of siblings sent to stay with relatives in a remote woodland town, only to discover chilling signs that something inhuman may be haunting the family’s past. A new generation must unravel the mystery before they, too, are forgotten.
The trailer opens with vintage home-video footage, eerie laughter, and a flickering lantern light inside a decaying farmhouse. Echoes of whispers and creaking floors build dread, before cutting to a frantic voice: “Why did they forget us? Why won’t they let us leave?”
Starring Sadie Sink, Paul Dano, and Lin Shaye, the film leans heavily into psychological horror and folklore, blurring the line between memory and haunting. From dusty attics to chilling nursery rhymes scratched into walls, The Forgotten Ones explores what happens when the past is not just buried—but deliberately erased.
Set for release on October 3, 2025, the film is poised to be one of the most talked-about horror experiences of the year.
