Renowned golf influencer and social media star Paige Spiranac recently gave fans a rare peek into her personal life during an Instagram Q&A.

When quizzed about her current relationship status, the social media sensation explained why she keeps her love life under wraps. “So, I was previously married,” began Spiranac, who recently lashed out at the “dumbest” PGA Tour rule, referring to her marriage to athletic trainer Steven Tinoco that ended in divorce in 2022.

The Happy Gilmore 2 cameo star elaborated: “I got married young, and when it didn’t work out, I decided that I was never, ever, ever, ever going to share my personal life online ever again.”

Her decision was influenced by the barrage of hurtful messages she received after the breakup: “Still, to this day, many years later, the amount of messages that I get that are horrible and harassing about a previous relationship just really made up my mind that I was never going to publicly talk about that side of my life, friends or family, ever again.”

This comes after she attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit launch party celebration with her mystery beau in May 2024.

“It’s more for my mental wellbeing and my sanity,” she confessed. “I am so vulnerable online, and I share so much about myself – I’m very open and honest – that I want to keep a little part of something to me, and that is just what I have decided to do.”

She added: “People would assume that it’s because ‘Oh, guys follow you and you don’t want to lose your audience.’

“No. Really this is just to protect my sanity, and I just never want to go through that again. Because if you never put anything online, you never owe anyone an explanation.”

The 32-year-old social media star confirmed she’s currently dating someone, but made it crystal clear that intimate details would remain under wraps.

She previously disclosed in 2023: “Yes, I do have a boyfriend. He works crazy hours and he works a lot so what we do is whoever is busier, the other person will pick up the slack.”

Spiranac also shut down ongoing speculation that she’s romantically involved with well-known sports stars. “Never been on a date with anyone famous,” she stated firmly in April. “I’ve had pro athletes or famous people slide in my DMs. I’ve never dated anyone famous.”

She voiced her annoyance at being romantically connected to figures like Tom Brady and Bryson DeChambeau merely due to professional partnerships or public events.

“It’s like any time I shoot content with a male celebrity, that’s the headline – or all of the comments – which can be really difficult for my job where I work in a male-dominated industry … It’s really frustrating because I’ve never dated anyone famous ever, not even close.”

In 2025, she’s redirected her focus toward creating genuine content and exploring fresh career opportunities, including her part in Netflix’s ‘Happy Gilmore 2. ‘

She called collaborating with Adam Sandler “one of the coolest experiences of my life,” highlighting his modesty and compassion.
