General Hospital put “Nathan” in an emotional and complicated position as Felicia Scorpio arrived to discuss his distance from James, only for Danny and Charlotte to later pull him into an urgent crisis involving Rocco and Britt. What began as a tender conversation about family quickly shifted into another reminder that Port Charles is running out of safe adults to trust.
At Nina’s place, Felicia visits “Nathan” after noticing that he has not been spending much time with James lately. She approaches the subject carefully, clearly wondering whether something she said or did may have pushed him away. “Nathan” tries to reassure her by explaining that work has been chaotic, but Felicia can tell there is more behind his absence than a busy schedule.
He eventually admits that he has been thinking about James’ real home and the people who have been raising him. In his mind, James belongs with Maxie and Spinelli, the two people who have given him stability, love, and a sense of normal family life. Danny and Charlotte explain that Rocco specifically wanted them to come to “Nathan,” believing he might be able to help without exposing their location or putting Britt in even more danger. Their arrival places “Nathan” in a difficult position. He has just been reminded of the importance of being present for James, and now two other children are asking him to step up for Rocco before Britt’s medical crisis becomes impossible to control.
