The Acorn Falls is comfortable and fully stocked with thoughtful amenities and luxurious finishes. The cabin boasts a fully stocked kitchen, all linens for the bed and bath provided, a range of toiletries, a huge wrap-around deck for outdoor dining and living, modern functional furnishings, kid-friendly stuff (high chair, port a crib, and dishes). There is a boat slip that is available for those that own personal watercraft and lists the owner as additionally insured on the policy for the dates of a vacation stay. Guests have access to the whole house except the garage. There are no laundry facilities on site.

The cabin is located in Bass Lake, California, United States. Acorn Falls is just across the street from Bass Lake with peek-a-boo views, located 1.4 miles from the Pines Village which is home to a grocery store, boat, jet ski, and paddle board rentals, launch ramp, shops, and restaurants. Nearby the town of Oakhurst provides two large grocery stores, restaurants, a winery, golfing, and more. During your vacation stay you can head to Old Town Mariposa for a visit to antique stores and quaint shops. Spend the day in Yosemite or experience one of the many hiking or biking trails right outside the cabin doors. There is much to do all year round. There is no public transportation in the local area. A car is necessary for getting around.

Hike at Willow Creek Trailhead. Willow Creek Trailhead is one of the top destinations for hiking in the Bass Lake region. The trail is about 2.5 miles (4 km) long, but the fun of the hike is never about the length of the trail. The trail is between moderate to difficult based on how to fit you are, and the fascinating thing about it is that it has several waterfalls and streams where you can make occasional stops to get wet. This is in addition to the exciting surroundings featuring tall pine trees and the constant chirping of birds in the trees. With this trail, the next step will be just as refreshing as the previous one.
Enjoy boat rides on Bass Lake Crane Valley Dam. Crane Valley Dam is located on Lake Bass, and it is a multipurpose recreational area ideal for a myriad of outdoor activities. In addition to the normal camping in the woods, the dam provides excellent opportunities for individuals interested in watersports, with boat riding and fishing being the most popular activities on the dam. Nature lovers can also enjoy water skiing, sailing, and swimming on the dam.
