On today’s Young and the Restless (Thursday, November 13, 2025), Victor and Adam finalize a devastating plot against the Abbott family and Jabot, Phyllis finds herself questioning Cane’s motives after his mysterious AI software theft, and Tessa faces an agonizing reality about her marriage to Mariah and makes a heartbreaking decision.
Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Nick learned a shocking truth about his son Noah’s new love interest, Sienna confronted her husband and interrogated him about his alter-identity, Matt Clark. Billy made a monumental change in his life, promising Sally a fresh start centered on their dreams.
Crimson Lights
Phyllis tells Daniel that she’s excited for Lucy being with Summer in Milan over Christmas. She’s also happy that Noah is doing well, and says that Sharon called her to give her an update.
Daniel is happy that Noah is feeling better. He wonders what’s going on with Cane… Anything exciting? Is she still going to conquer the world with him?
Phyllis doesn’t really answer. “I’m keeping busy.”
Daniel digs for more information. He knows that if his mom doesn’t want to talk about it, it’s probably not something he’d approve of.
Phyllis excuses herself. She has places to go and things to see! She leaves the coffeehouse.
Tessa walks in. She’s in tears and hugs Daniel, telling him that she decided to go see Mariah again.
They sit down, and Daniel asks what Mariah said.
Tessa says Mariah wouldn’t see her. She was told by a staff person that Mariah had told them not to let her in if she showed up, and she won’t take phone calls, either. She knows Mariah is going through therapy, but she’s cutting off people that love her. Mariah has chosen to shut her out!

Adam walks into the restaurant and sees Cane sitting at the bar. He joins him and says he should check out the breakfast burrito. He asks why he’s there if his business is burning down around him; shouldn’t he be looking for who stole his software?
Cane shrugs. They went through this yesterday; it’s Victor who stole the AI software.
Adam doesn’t think he has any evidence. He doesn’t know how Cane created such a huge empire, but he created a lot of enemies when he came back to Genoa City, wanting to take over everyone’s companies. Adam will sit back and eat popcorn while he watches Cane burn.
Cane thinks Adam had something to do with stealing the software.
Adam shakes his head. Once his billions and company are gone, he’s going to have plenty of time to figure out who stole it!
Cane says he won’t back down… He was formidable before, but they’ve created a monster now!
Adam isn’t sure how Cane will pull off the “avenging warrior” thing… He recommends that Cane just leaves town, since nobody wants him here, including his ex-wife and kids! He wonders how much is left of Arabesque now. He’s happy that Cane is fighting for his own survival.
Cane says he’s happy, too. He thanks Adam and tells him to thank Victor, too.
Adam asks why he’d want to thank them.
Cane says whoever stole the software, whether it’s Victor or not, did him a favor. Maybe he had too much money and power. What good is it to own the world if everyone despises him? He is happy.
Phyllis walks in while Cane and Adam are talking.
Adam notices her and says that he’ll pass his thanks on to Victor; it’ll warm his heart. In the meantime, maybe Cane should extend his gratitude to some other culprit. He leaves the restaurant, nodding at Phyllis as he passes her.
Phyllis walks over and asks if Cane meant what he said… He’s not upset?
Cane says that it’s his opportunity to make changes in his life, so if she did steal his AI and give it to Victor, she deserves his thanks.
Phyllis says it wasn’t her… She didn’t steal his AI software!
Cane shrugs. Victor said it wasn’t him, either. His tech team is brilliant, so they’ll solve it. They’ve already found breadcrumbs of who broke in.
Phyllis says he needs to stop thinking she’s a suspect. The only thing she’s guilty of is complete loyalty to him!
Cane says there’s something he finds incredible about her… Nobody talks a good game like she does! He wants to know what Victor offered her… Was it Arabesque?
Phyllis grins. Arabesque would be so exciting! She thinks they should celebrate since Cane is happy about his liberation. She wants to eat something and is certain he’ll land on his feet.
Cane says rebuilding his empire isn’t his top priority… He wants to make amends to his family. Maybe this will help him make things right. He wants his kids back and wants Lily back, too. Will she help him do that?
Phyllis understands and supports him reconnecting with his kids, but Lily is done with him… Her heart is closed off to him!
Cane thinks he’s made progress with Lily. Maybe if he loses everything, he’ll have another shot with her.
Phyllis says they’ll never go back to the way they were.
Cane doesn’t want to go back. He wants to go forward with Lily.
Phyllis says she’s trying to be his friend. He needs to let this go and realize that what he wants might be right in front of him… There are women who don’t judge him for his past and see him for who is is now. These women think big, like he does, and let him be exactly who he is!
Cane narrows his eyes. If he didn’t know any better, he’d think she was trying to seduce him!

Chancellor Park
Tessa and Daniel walk into the park. Tessa’s sure that Mariah is done with her. There’s no point in talking it through.
Daniel isn’t sure. He thinks it may be part of Mariah’s treatment to cut off the outside world… It’s probably only temporary.
Tessa doesn’t even know if Mariah is actually getting better, since she won’t talk to her. What’s she supposed to do with this?
Daniel shrugs. Maybe she needs to try harder.
Tessa wanted to break Mariah out of the clinic so they could heal, but Mariah won’t cooperate. Mariah claimed she tried to kill someone, but the only thing she actually killed was their marriage! If this is how Mariah wants it, it’s time for Tessa to let go and move on.
They sit down and Tessa continues, saying she thought marrying Mariah would be forever. Mariah gave her a “squid hat” for their anniversary because they went to see a movie about a giant squid on their first date.
Daniel doesn’t think her story with Mariah is over… There’s still more to come!
Tessa wonders what Aria is going to do. She doesn’t know what to tell their daughter about Mariah.
Daniel isn’t sure. He wants to know what he can do to help.
Tessa says he just needs to do what he’s doing… Being her friend. He can bring tissues and provide a shoulder to cry on as she goes through a divorce. She can’t save Mariah, but she can save herself and Aria. She doesn’t see any other choice.
Daniel agrees. He’ll be her friend through it!

Newman Ranch
Victor finishes a call with Michael as Adam arrives. He tells Adam that Michael has some promising leads on Sienna and Mitch, and wants Michael’s legal advice in regards to Cane’s AI program.
Adam sits down and says he just ran into Cane at Society, where he spent the better part of breakfast trying to convince Cane that Victor didn’t steal his software. Cane didn’t seem fazed, and said that it would be a chance to reset his priorities like he deserved it.
Victor scoffs. Cane is putting on an act and will retaliate at some point… And when that happens, Victor will deal with him appropriately. He asks if Adam has come up with a way to distract the Abbots while he unleashes AI on Jabot.
Adam figures they’ll hit Adam through Billy. Abbott Communications has announced a new launch party, and have obviously found an investor. Billy and Sally are keeping the secret investor under wraps, but Adam will figure out who it is an convince them that it’s a waste of their money. Once the funding is pulled, he’ll drop the news on Billy at the launch party in front of the entire world.
Victor likes the idea of pulling the rug out from under Billy-boy, especially since the rest of the Abbotts will be watching! He asks what Chelsea thinks of this.
Adam says Chelsea’s on board. It’s business, and he’ll enjoy every moment of bringing that idiot down!
Victor nods. While Adam distracts them, he’ll move in for the kill on his old “friend,” Jack Abbott!
The Genoa City Athletic Club (GCAC)
Danny meets his bride-to-be at the club.
Cricket says they need to find someone to help their wedding run smoothly… That way she can focus on the man she loves!
They kiss, and Danny says he’s grateful they found their way back to each other. Nothing can stop their happily ever-after now! He pulls out the bag he brought with him, but before he can show her what’s inside, he’s interrupted.
Pietro arrives and says he had a hard time finding a peacock wrangler. He’s their wedding planner, and he’s overjoyed to meet Danny, whose music he loves. Rock On is his ringtone! He knows they want a small affair, but he thinks that a rock God marrying the love of his life should have a grand marriage! He thinks the reception should be more performance art than anything. He describes a crazy scene where they ride in on an elephant.
Danny says he actually loves the idea.
Cricket thinks it’s a little overboard.
Pietro continues, saying Danny will be the lion, and Cricket will be the gazelle.
Cricket thinks it’s nothing like she’s ever heard before, but as wonderful as it sounds, she just wants a simple wedding!
Pietro hopes Danny can convince his bride that their wedding should be as extravagant as their love.
Danny says he’s already getting everything he wants by marrying her, so he’d rather that she gets what she wants.
Pietro’s on board. A classic wedding! He tells them to send over any notes on what they want and promises to give them the wedding of their dreams. He leaves the club.
Cricket slaps Danny playfully on his chest, saying he shouldn’t have got Pietro so riled up. She wants him to tell her what’s in the bag he brought.
Danny pulls out a little pink box. Changing gears, he explains that with all the wedding planning craziness, they’ve been having problems finding the right cake, and he thinks he’s found the perfect simple solution. He tells her to close her eyes and open her mouth. He grabs a powdered donut hole out of the box and feeds it to her.
Cricket laughs. She loves it and thinks his idea is brilliant!
Danny’s glad she loves it. He’ll tell Pietro to keep it simple, but he wants a donut tree at their wedding.
They laugh and kiss as Daniel and Tessa arrive at the club. Cricket offers them some donut holes, and Tessa laughs. She could use a sweet treat right now!
Daniel and Tessa approve of their idea for a “wedding cake.”
Cricket tells them that Danny has ideas of riding in on an elephant.
Daniel isn’t sure if she’s joking or not.
Danny tells them it means a lot to them that they’re going to be the entertainment at the wedding, even if it is only one song. He tells them to enjoy the donut holes, and he leaves the club with Cricket.
Daniel tells Tessa that he wants to talk to her about the wedding… How would she feel about going as his date?
