Anna Devane has already lured her to an isolated piece of land and pulled a gun on her, turning what Britt believed was a meeting about Cassius into a confrontation that could end with irreversible consequences.
Anna’s fixation on Faison’s children has become increasingly severe despite repeated attempts by the people around her to redirect her suspicions toward Cullum. In Anna’s mind, however, Cassius and Britt remain central to what happened to her, and with Cassius believed to be dead, Britt has become the person absorbing the full force of Anna’s anger and paranoia.
That makes this confrontation particularly dangerous because Anna is not simply acting on ordinary resentment. Her mental state has been deteriorating for some time, and the visions of Peter August that continue intruding on her thoughts have pushed her toward increasingly extreme conclusions.
Under normal circumstances, Britt would be one of the last people viewers would worry about in a verbal confrontation. Trina Finally Explodes Over Brook Lynn’s Secret
While Britt fights for survival, Trina Robinson is dealing with a very different kind of anger.
Trina recently learned that Brook Lynn Quartermaine may have been the person who drove away from the scene of the accident involving Jordan and Curtis. Brook Lynn did not initially know that she had been involved, but once the pieces began pointing in her direction, Tracy helped convince her to keep quiet.
That silence now has consequences.
Chase eventually put the truth together and confronted Brook Lynn at the Quartermaine Labor Day gathering, with Trina close enough to overhear the exchange. Tuesday gives Trina the opportunity to finally react to what she learned.
Her anger is understandable because the fallout from that accident stretched far beyond Brook Lynn herself.
If Brook Lynn had come forward earlier, the investigation surrounding the crash could have taken a completely different direction. Curtis may never have developed the same resentment toward Isaiah, and the chain of events that eventually landed Curtis in prison could have unfolded very differently.
