Kevin de Bruyne will knock back any offers to join the Saudi Arabia gold rush — because he wants to finish his career at the Etihad.

The Manchester City prize guy has just one year left on his contract at the end of the season and is tipped to become the next big-name Premier League target for the Saudis.

But sources close to the 32-year-old Belgian insist he has no interest in chasing the Middle East millions.

De Bruyne will have completed a decade at City by the time his current deal ends yet feels he can play at the top level well into his thirties.

He is the champions’ top earner and signing him would be a massive coup for the Saudi Arabian league.

But any hopes he will join Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte in swapping City for Saudi are destined to fail.

De Bruyne will base any future decisions around the fact he has a young family and is happy with life in Manchester.

And if he ever does leave, sources say he will stay in Europe.

The midfielder, out injured until probably the new year, is still pivotal to boss Pep Guardiola’s plans and — fitness permitting — will remain so.

City know the time is coming to make a decision on his future and will want to avoid a similar situation to the one which saw Ilkay Gundogan walk away on a free this summer.

So a contract extension is still the likeliest outcome when talks do start — and a move to Saudi is definitely not on KDB’s agenda.
