On today’s Young and the Restless (Friday, November 21, 2025), after decades of waiting and wondering, Danny and Christine finally said “I do” in a magical ceremony at the GCAC. But the road to the altar was not without a few bumps, including a terrifying allergic reaction that had everyone pointing fingers at Phyllis.
Last Episode
On the last episode of Y&R, Matt Clark cornered Sharon in her hotel room while Noah and Sienna woke up drugged and imprisoned. Nick vowed revenge as he worked with police to find his son.
The Genoa City Athletic Club (GCAC)
A sign is put up in the lobby welcoming everyone to Christine and Danny’s Wedding.
In the dining room, Daniel, Danny, and Michael are dressed in their best and oversee setting up the chairs in the room. Danny thinks it’s too bad that Lucy is sick and will miss the wedding.
Phyllis walks into the dining room. She tells Danny that Lucy probably doesn’t have the flu… She’s probably just allergic to his bug-to-be!
Danny asks her for a single snark-free day.
Michael intervenes and says Phyllis is sorry for the interruption and will leave before someone drops a house on her!
Daniel takes his mother aside and tells her not to ruin his dad and Christine’s big day.
Phyllis agrees, grudgingly, and heads up to her room.
Michael wishes someone could talk some sense into Phyllis.
Gina walks into the lobby, and Danny hugs his sister.
Christine’s GCAC Suite
Christine tells Lauren she’s nervous… As of today, she’ll officially be Christine Romalotti! Her phone pings with some notifications… It’s Pietro, their wedding coordinator, and he won’t be able to oversee the wedding!
Lauren tells her to tell him that everything is perfect; they have the right dress and the right flowers!
There’s a knock at the door. It’s her old friend, Nina, and she hugs Christine. “I love you and missed you so much!”
They laugh and tear up as they reminisce about Chance. Christine is excited for the day!
They sit down and Nina presents Christine with a box.
Lauren and Nina tell her there is something old… Danny’s cassette liner notes where he mentioned her for the first time.
Christine pulls out a hula doll, which is “something new” and represents her first wedding to Danny in Hawaii.
Next is “something borrowed”… It’s a diamond bracelet that Lauren laughs about; it was a gift from Michael after a fight.
Next… “Something blue.” It’s a blue napkin.
There’s a knock at the door, and there is a flower delivery for Christine. She takes the flowers with a smile, but starts sneezing immediately. She realizes they’re Chrysanthemums and she’s allergic to them. She throws them out into the hallway.
Lauren and Nina are incensed. It’s obvious that the flowers were sent by Phyllis! They reassure Christine that she’ll be fine for the wedding.
Christine isn’t so sure… She’s starting to itch!
Lauren says she’s leaving to get antihistamines and some lotion. She heads out.
Christine is so upset and can’t believe Phyllis would do something like this!
Nina starts a shower and tells her not to scratch.
The GCAC Dining Room
Tessa walks into the dining room, and is introduced to Gina. They tell her that they’re going to perform a song for the wedding.
Gina is impressed.
Amy and Nate enter the club. Amy is dressed in a flowing glittery dress. They introduce themselves to Gina, and Amy quips that being invited to Danny Romalotti’s wedding is something to sneeze at!
The party starts to fill out as Diane, Traci, Esther, Devon, and Abby arrive.
Daniel tells Tessa he knows his family can be a lot… Is she okay?
Tessa says she’s fine. She’s happy to be doing something she loves! She wouldn’t miss singing for a rock star!
Danny and Gina walk into the lobby to phone Lucy.
Phyllis walks down, and Gina asks what she’s doing there.
They trade barbs for a bit, and Danny asks them not to fight right now.
Traci sees Phyllis intruding and mentions it to Michael.
Michael nods. Phyllis would blow this day to smithereens just for the hell of it!
Gina tells Phyllis that she’d better not do anything to mess up the day, or she swears…
Phyllis goads her until Gina walks away, pissed off.
Danny tells Phyllis that his family and friends are on edge because of her.
Lauren walks down and takes Phyllis away. She tells Phyllis that the flowers she sent were beautiful.
Phyllis says she had nothing to do with it.
Lauren doesn’t believe it.
Cane walks into the dining room and shakes Danny’s hand. He congratulates him and turns to leave.
Amy and Nina confront Cane and tell him this has been a long time coming.
Cane says he’s truly sorry for both their losses and has made donations in their sons’ names.
Amy says money can’t wipe the slate clean. Their lives can’t be measured in dollars!
Nina and Amy are both angry. They know he regrets his part in their sons’ deaths, but nothing will ever be the same for either of them now.
Phyllis walks in and asks if Cane is ready to go.
Cane promises Nina and Amy he’ll never forget. He congratulates Danny again and leaves with Phyllis.
Gina thinks Phyllis has found her next victim… That works for her!
Danny hopes Cane can keep Phyllis away for the rest of the day.
Amy walks over to the bar, looking dejected. Abby offers her support and they hug.
Christine’s GCAC Suite
Gina drops in on Christine, who’s already feeling better. She says she ran into Phyllis, who slithered away with Cane Ashby.
Nina says she saw Cane, too, and she and Amy confronted him about their sons. She says that’s enough of that… It’s time to celebrate!
Some flowers arrive that aren’t mums… They’re from Paul, wishing Christine and Danny a lifetime of happiness.
Everyone is happy about the flowers, and Lauren says it’s time to get Christine into her wedding dress.
Danny’s GCAC Suite
Danny struggles to tie his tie correctly. His son helps him with it, and they joke around before getting serious. Danny tries to talk about Heather, but Daniel stops him and tells him he’s happy today.
Daniel apologizes for his mom, Phyllis, getting in the way.
Danny laughs and says he’ll be on his guard.
Daniel says that’s his job. He’ll be on guard while his dad marries the woman he loves. They hug.
Crimson Lights
Phyllis and Cane grab a coffee. Phyllis asks how he feels about what Amy and Nina had to say to him.
Cane says it was long overdue, and he’s glad they were able to talk.
They sit down, and Phyllis says that everyone in town is cliquey.
Cane doesn’t care. He wonders why she hates Christine so much… Is she pining over her ex?
Phyllis laughs. She’s not pining over Danny; he’s a great guy and an amazing father! She just finds it weird that her ex moved on like this, and it’s hard to wipe the slate clean. She figures Cane feels the same way about Lily, and that it’s time to just move on.
Cane doesn’t think it’s that simple.
Phyllis thinks that Lily is the love of his life and the center of his universe.
Cane smirks. He’s talking about who Phyllis is pining for, since, according to her, it’s not Danny.
Phyllis says it’s true; she’s over Danny. She just hates losing, and the last person in the world she wanted to lose to is Christine, but she just can’t remember who she was saying she was pining for!
The GCAC Dining Room
Traci regales partygoers about her and Amy’s time in LA. Someone was videotaping Amy serenading a table of firefighters and it went viral!
Tessa saw the video… And Amy has some serious pipes!
Devon laughs and says that he needs to see the video; they’re always looking for new musical talent!
People start taking their seats, and Abby asks Michael if the rumors are true… Is he working for her dad again?
Michael nods. He’s employed by Victor on a case-by-case basis!
Daniel interrupts. It’s time!
Danny walks in and tells Michael he’s ready for this. No matter what happens, he’s going to marry Cricket and make it last forever!
Christine walks down the stairs in her wedding dress, and everyone turns and smiles.
Daniel asks Christine if she’s ready for this.
Christine laughs. She’s never been more ready for anything!
Daniel walks her down the aisle.
Esther smiles and tells Diane she’s so happy that the Chrysanthemum flowers she sent to Christine match her wedding colors.
Nina overhears and grimaces. It wasn’t Phyllis, after all!
Christine and Danny smile. They made it!
Michael starts the ceremony with a smile. “Friends, family, and the besotted bride and groom…”
Danny says his vows, saying Christine’s name was written across his heart. If they didn’t get married today, he would have held out hope. She’s the greatest love song that his heart could ever write!
Christine says it’s been a lifetime since they said their vows, but their love has always been there. She can remember every moment they’ve spent together, and she thought they missed their chance, but they didn’t… The day is finally there, and it’s magical. She’ll love him forever!
Michael pronounces them “madly in love until the end of time.”
They kiss, and rose petals fall from the ceiling.

Phyllis wants to propose a toast to the wedding party.
Nick and Sharon explore, looking for Noah and Sienna, and Nick finds a clue.
Ashley returns to the Abbott household for Thanksgiving.
