Paul Bissonnette issues bold prophecy for Oilers fans ahead of Stanley Cup Final Game 6
The Edmonton Oilers lost again 3-2 as the series shifts back to Edmonton for Friday’s Game 6. Former hockey player Paul Bissonnette believes the momentum has shifted and that Game 6 will be a monumental occasion for anyone in the building.
The Oilers will rely on their fans to cheer them on. They will also depend on McDavid to shoulder the load and lead them to a thrilling Game 7.
Just landed in Edmonton. Friday will be biblical. McJesus will rise again. #letsgooilers

“Just landed in Edmonton. Friday will be biblical. McJesus will rise again,” Bissonnette tweeted.
Bissonnette played for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Phoenix Coyotes and is familiar with these games.
The odds are against them, but they have been for the last two games. Edmonton has responded with victories 8-1 and 5-3 to force the series back home. Whether or not they can respond with another win and perhaps another after to stun the world remains to be seen.
Connor McDavid talks about playing for the Oilers on the biggest stage
Connor McDavid has piloted the Edmonton Oilers to this point and has been instrumental in keeping them alive. He has responded to a slower start in the Stanley Cup Final to come full force. He’s been the main reason the NHL season hasn’t ended.
Connor McDavid will try to lead Edmonton to the promised land
He opened up on what it’s like to ESPN:
“I love playing in the playoffs. It’s been a fun ride. We’re glad it’s going to go one more day, but that’s all we’ve earned. Another day, another flight, and we’ll be ready to go on Friday.”
McDavid will try to respond with another fight and live to see another day on Friday. The Oilers season hangs in the balance, but there are few more talented players to lead them than McDavid.
