So Selena Gomez ensured she pulled out all the stops as she stormed the red carpet at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Awards after-party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday.

Selena went for old school glamour with her beauty regime as she styled her glossy raven tresses into large waves, pinned up on one side as the rest fell from a sweeping side parting.

She kept her make-up relatively simple, with an eyeshadow pallet comprising of bronze and brown hues with lashings of mascara topping off the look.

The perfect addition to the simple ensemble was a pair of huge, glimmering emerald chandelier earrings with a stunning matching ring containing an eye-wateringly large sparkler.

A host of stars joined Selena at the exclusive soiree including Kaley Cuoco, Kate Hudson, Vanessa Hudgens and Charli XCX.

The after party was designed by Thomas Ford who has created the lavish event held at the Beverly Hills venue every year since 2002.

He told InStyle of this year’s bash: ‘The theme is Asian-inspired with gold and burgundy and bamboo, but the bamboo is mirrored bamboo,’

The designer talked about the over-the-top centrepiece chandelier which was made to look like an exploded lantern.

‘It’s gold and it has cool new light pixels in the middle, instead of just lightbulbs’

‘It will also have pictures of cherry blossoms and geishas and all sorts of crazy. Asian-themed pictures that we’ve deconstructed to pixels so you can’t tell what anything is.’
