General Hospital took an emotional turn as Harrison Chase and Tracy Quartermaine finally confronted the tension that has been building between them. Following Tracy’s arrest and their heated family conflict, the two attempted to repair their fractured relationship. Although both expressed a desire to move forward, Tracy made it clear that one issue continues to threaten Chase’s marriage to Brook Lynn Quartermaine—his growing connection to Willow Cain.
Chase Extends an Olive Branch
Determined to repair the damage caused by recent events, Chase sought Tracy out at the Quartermaine estate for an honest conversation.
He admitted he should have stepped in sooner before the situation spiraled out of control and apologized for failing to mediate the conflict before emotions boiled over. More importantly, Chase confessed that he did not want to lose the close relationship they had built over the years.
He reminded Tracy of everything they had shared while caring for Gregory Chase and Violet, insisting those memories meant too much to simply walk away from.
For Chase, restoring peace within the family had become just as important as repairing his marriage.
Tracy’s Concern Has Nothing to Do With an Affair

Contrary to what many might assume, she made it clear she does not believe Chase is having a romantic affair with Willow.

In her eyes, Willow no longer needs to pursue Chase romantically to become a threat to his marriage.

As tensions continue rising throughout Port Charles, Chase appears to have taken his first meaningful step toward protecting his relationship. Whether distancing himself from Willow will be enough to save his marriage, however, remains far less certain.
With Brook Lynn already carrying dangerous secrets of her own and Willow’s troubles escalating by the day, the peace Chase and Tracy reached at the Quartermaine mansion may only be temporary.
